Assegnato il Warwick Prize for Writing

24 febbraio: il Warwick Prize for Writing è stato assegnato a Naomi Klein per il libro The Shock Doctrine The Rise of Disaster Capitalism”.

Il Warwick Prize for Writing, assegnato ogni 2 anni, è dedicato ad opere scritte in lingua inglese su un tema che cambia ogni edizione: il tema del 2009 è la complessità.

The Shock Doctrine The Rise of Disaster Capitalism” è l’ultimo saggio della giornalista canadese autrice di No Logo! Una panoramica sulla storia economica dgli ultimi 50 anni e sull’ascesa del capitalismo dei disastri.
